Cardinal Health announced the opening of its newest distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated solely to its at-Home Solutions business. This 340,000 square-foot facility is designed to ship approximately 10,000 packages per day directly to patients' homes, serving over 6 million people annually in the United States.
This Fort Worth facility is the third new distribution center built from the ground up in three years for at-Home Solutions, adding over 750,000 square feet to its nationwide network. All new facilities are equipped with advanced robotics and automation technology to enhance speed, quality, and safety in distribution.
Additionally, Cardinal Health announced plans to break ground on another new at-Home Solutions distribution center in Sacramento, California, this fiscal year, with full operation anticipated by Summer 2027. The company will also retrofit an existing Ontario, California, distribution center with state-of-the-art automation, further expanding its West Coast presence and efficiency.
