This facility replaces the previous Bedford, Massachusetts, center, offering double the warehouse space and triple the capacity for product storage.
The nearly 317,000 square-foot facility provides modernized operations and expanded capacity for healthcare customers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and Eastern Connecticut. It also features specialized handling capabilities for products with strict storage requirements, which will be available in early 2025.
This investment strengthens Cardinal Health's supply chain resiliency, aiming to provide a more predictable, timely, and stable experience for its New England customers. The enhanced operational efficiencies and specialized product handling capabilities are expected to improve service for patient care needs.
