Instacart Expands Pet Retail Reach Through Partnership with Pet Supplies Plus

Instacart has partnered with Pet Supplies Plus, the largest pet retail franchise, to give customers access to more than 700 stores across the United States and over 11,000 pet products from 400 trusted brands, all available at exclusive loyalty member pricing.

The partnership also includes more than 20 Wag N Wash self‑wash grooming and natural pet‑food locations, with 27 stores nationwide. Instacart customers can order from Pet Supplies Plus and Wag N Wash storefronts through the Instacart app or website, with delivery in as fast as an hour. The deal makes Instacart the only online marketplace to feature all five of the top U.S. pet retailers—Pet Supplies Plus, PetSmart, PetCo, Chewy, and Amazon.

Instacart is offering $15 off the first purchase of $75 or more through November 16 for eligible customers. The partnership expands Instacart’s product assortment into a high‑growth pet segment, potentially increasing order frequency and basket values and strengthening its omnichannel strategy. Pet Supplies Plus and Wag N Wash also partner with TerraCycle® to recycle pet food, treat, and litter packaging, underscoring a shared sustainability focus.

Instacart’s Q2 2025 results showed revenue of $914 million, up 11.1% year‑over‑year, and GAAP net income of $116 million, a 92% increase. Total orders rose 16.8% to 82.7 million. For Q3 2025, Instacart projects gross transaction value between $9.0 billion and $9.15 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $260 million and $270 million, indicating continued growth momentum.
