CAVA Group announced its largest menu launch ever on January 5, 2026, adding four new items and reintroducing the fan‑favorite white sweet potato to its Mediterranean‑fast‑casual lineup.

The new menu features two high‑protein bowls that highlight the white sweet potato, a Sumac‑sour‑cream and onion pita chip, a Tangerine Aleppo drink, Power Greens, and Sumac Slaw. The launch is available nationwide across all restaurants, the CAVA app, and online.

The return of the white sweet potato follows a customer‑driven request; the item was last offered in winter 2021 and was pulled for a brief period. Management said the new offerings “truly elevate our lineup for 2026” and are designed to boost average check size and traffic.

CAVA’s broader strategy is to use menu innovation to maintain its position as the “Chipotle of Mediterranean” and to support its aggressive unit‑growth plan of over 1,000 locations by 2032. The company’s Q1 2025 results showed 28.2% revenue growth and 10.8% same‑restaurant sales, but margin pressure from rising input and wage costs remains a concern.
