Clear Channel Outdoor announced a new partnership that introduces large-scale moving out-of-home (OOH) advertising displays via the PRU electric bus fleet in downtown Chicago. This initiative offers brands a unique opportunity to capture high-demand business consumers across key arteries like Michigan Avenue and throughout major business districts during peak drive times. The four-bus fleet also provides visibility across popular landmarks such as Grant Park and Millennium Park. Chicago is the third-largest Designated Market Area (DMA) in the U.S. and home to 15 Fortune 500 companies. The innovative OOH displays on the new K9MD all-electric buses, equipped with Wi-Fi, allow national and local brands to activate exclusive takeover campaigns. This provides access to a highly valuable part of downtown Chicago where other advertising opportunities are limited. Barry Butler, Vice President of Sales for Clear Channel Outdoor-Chicago, highlighted that this partnership gives advertisers additional exposure and the largest OOH display on Michigan Avenue. The moving advertisements will be seen by tourists and locals, as well as tens of thousands of workers commuting to and from major downtown train stations and offices.
