Cadeler announced on 26 September 2025 that it has delivered its first A‑Class vessel, Wind Ally, marking the ninth vessel in its growing fleet of next‑generation wind installation vessels. The delivery was completed today and the vessel is now ready to enter service. Wind Ally’s arrival expands Cadeler’s operational capacity and fleet diversity.
Wind Ally will head directly into operations at Ørsted’s Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm in the North Sea. For the first time, Cadeler will assume the entire transport and installation (T&I) scope for offshore monopile foundations, a capability that has not been offered by the company before. This new service scope extends Cadeler’s value proposition beyond turbine installation to full foundation work.
The move positions Cadeler as a leader in foundation installation, a segment expected to grow as larger turbines and deeper‑water projects increase foundation demand. The A‑Class vessel’s advanced capabilities and the new T&I scope are expected to enhance fleet utilization and generate additional revenue streams. The milestone underscores Cadeler’s strategy to capture higher‑margin services in the offshore wind market.
