Constellation Energy has been awarded over $1 billion in combined contracts by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to supply nuclear power to 13 government agencies. This includes a 10-year, $840 million contract, the largest in GSA history, to provide more than 1 million megawatt hours annually starting in 2025.
A portion of the power supply will come from investments Constellation will make to increase plant output through uprates. This agreement, alongside the previously announced Crane Clean Energy Center restart, is expected to add approximately 1,100 MWs of 24/7 clean energy to the grid by 2028.
Additionally, Constellation secured a $172 million Energy Savings Performance Contract to implement energy efficiency and conservation measures at five GSA-owned facilities in the National Capital Region. These contracts underscore the growing demand for reliable, carbon-free energy from government entities and support continued investment in Constellation's nuclear assets.
