Cognyte Software Ltd. has secured a new multi‑unit contract worth approximately $5 million with a Tier‑1 law‑enforcement agency operating across the Europe‑Middle‑East‑Africa (EMEA) region. The agreement covers four distinct agency units, including both federal and local departments, and will deploy Cognyte’s tactical SIGINT solutions to detect, prevent, and mitigate criminal activity while supporting search‑and‑rescue operations.

The agency selected Cognyte after a competitive procurement process that replaced an incumbent provider. Cognyte’s technology was chosen for its advanced AI‑driven analytics and real‑time data integration, which the agency cited as critical for meeting its operational requirements. The win demonstrates Cognyte’s ability to win high‑stakes government contracts against established competitors.

Strategically, the contract adds a new recurring revenue stream and positions Cognyte for further expansion within the agency and to other agencies in the country. The deal aligns with Cognyte’s “land‑and‑expand” strategy and supports its long‑term goal of reaching $500 million in revenue by FY28. The addition of a Tier‑1 government customer also enhances Cognyte’s credibility in the public‑sector market, potentially unlocking cross‑sell opportunities for its software and professional‑services offerings.

In the context of Cognyte’s recent financial performance, the contract comes after Q2 FY26 revenue of $97.5 million, up 15.5% year‑over‑year. Software revenue accounted for $83.3 million (85.5% of total revenue) and recurring revenue totaled $47.4 million (48.7% of total revenue). The new contract therefore represents a meaningful addition to the company’s recurring‑revenue base and reinforces its growth trajectory.

Chief Revenue Officer Efi Nuri said the win “underscores the superior performance of our technology and the trust customers place in Cognyte’s ability to deliver impactful results across complex operational environments.” Chief Financial Officer David Abadi added that the engagement “opens the door for future expansion and cross‑sell opportunities within this agency, as well as other agencies in the country, a key driver of our growth strategy.”
