Church & Dwight Co., Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Touchland® hand sanitizer brand for $700 million at closing, with an additional payment of up to $180 million contingent on Touchland's 2025 net sales. The total purchase price for the acquisition could reach up to $880 million.
Touchland is recognized as the fastest-growing brand in the hand sanitizer category in the United States and holds the number two position in the market. For the trailing twelve months through March 31, 2025, Touchland's net sales were approximately $130 million, with an EBITDA of about $55 million.
The acquisition is expected to be neutral to Church & Dwight's 2025 EPS, inclusive of transition costs and incremental marketing, and is projected to be 3% accretive to cash earnings in 2026. This strategic move adds Touchland as Church & Dwight's eighth power brand, aligning with its criteria for acquiring market-leading, asset-light, and growing brands.
