Churchill Downs Incorporated reported record-breaking wagering figures for the 151st Kentucky Derby and the entire Derby Week. All-sources wagering on the Kentucky Derby Day program reached a new record of $349.0 million, exceeding the prior year's record of $320.5 million.
Wagering on the Kentucky Derby race itself also set a new record at $234.4 million, up from $210.7 million last year. The total all-sources handle for Derby Week climbed to a new record of $473.9 million, surpassing the previous year's $446.6 million.
TwinSpires, the official betting partner, contributed significantly with a new record of $108.0 million in wagering on Churchill Downs races for Derby Day, compared to $92.1 million last year. The company expects Adjusted EBITDA for Derby Week to be one of the top two results in its history, although $2 to $4 million lower than the record 150th running in 2024.
