The new offering also includes coverage options for family-building services such as surrogacy and adoption, addressing a growing demand for such benefits. With 1 in 6 people worldwide impacted by infertility, these services are increasingly important for employee attraction and retention, with 61% of millennials citing these benefits as a driver of company loyalty.
Utilizing Progyny's Smart Cycle® design, employers can simplify coverage by structuring benefits around fertility cycles rather than financial thresholds. This new benefit solution will be available to most of Cigna Healthcare's self-funded employer clients in early fall 2025.
