CleanSpark, Inc. provided an update on the impact of Hurricane Helene, confirming that all team members were safe and no material damage occurred to site infrastructure or mining servers. The company proactively shut down 365 MW of its Southeast Georgia sites to ensure health and safety and avoid undue pressure on the electrical grid. Despite the shutdown, CleanSpark maintained approximately 10.5 EH/s at its Northwest Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee sites throughout the storm. Within 24 hours, the company was able to restore hashrate to over 17.5 EH/s, bringing approximately 200 MW back online. The remaining 165 MW is projected to be restored to communities no later than October 4, 2024, with CleanSpark's hashrate currently at approximately 22 EH/s. The company expects to reach standard operations at approximately 28 EH/s once all sites are fully reenergized, showcasing its ability to manage and recover from significant operational disruptions.
