CleanSpark, Inc. released its unaudited Bitcoin mining and operations update for September 2024, concluding its fiscal year 2024 with significant growth. The company's hashrate reached 27.6 EH/s, an increase of 187% from FY2023, and its operational capacity grew to 552 MW, up 132%.
The company's Bitcoin treasury exceeded 8,000 self-mined Bitcoin, marking a 258% increase from FY2023, despite the halving event. During September, CleanSpark energized a 15 MW expansion in Dalton, Georgia, and the 50 MW final phase of its 150 MW expansion in Sandersville, Georgia.
CleanSpark also acquired five of seven planned Bitcoin mining facilities in the Knoxville, Tennessee area, totaling 65 MW, with the remaining two sites expected to close soon. Additionally, the company closed on its second site in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and acquired two turnkey Bitcoin mining sites near Clinton, Mississippi, expected to be operational by December 1, 2024. The company made a strategic decision on October 1, 2024, not to renew its hosting agreement with Coinmint, focusing all future efforts on wholly-owned and operated sites, with the agreement set to expire on January 1, 2025.
