Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc announced record gold production from its Blanket Mine for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, totaling 21,070 ounces. This represents a 1.4% increase from 20,773 ounces produced in Q2 2024, setting a new record for a second quarter.
For the first half of 2025, gold production reached 39,741 ounces, a 5.1% increase compared to 37,823 ounces in the first half of 2024. As a result of this strong performance, Caledonia has increased its annual production guidance for Blanket Mine to between 75,500 and 79,500 ounces for 2025, up from the previous guidance of 73,500 to 77,500 ounces.
CEO Mark Learmonth stated that the excellent production in the first half of 2025 exceeded expectations, attributing the success to the team's dedication and hard work. He emphasized that Blanket Mine continues to provide a solid foundation for growth and will be a cornerstone for driving shareholder value.
