Cummins Inc. announced the appointment of John Gaidoo as Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, effective June 1. He will succeed Nicole Lamb-Hale, who is transitioning to Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary.
Gaidoo has been with Cummins for 14 years, holding various legal positions and showcasing proficiency in intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, procurement, and regulatory compliance. He was elevated to an officer of the company in 2021 and promoted to Vice President – Senior Deputy General Counsel in 2023.
As Chief Legal Officer, Gaidoo will lead Cummins’ Legal function globally and serve as a core member of the Cummins Leadership Team. His role will involve working with business and functional leaders to advance the company’s strategic and operational priorities.
