Cimpress plc reported its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, with consolidated revenue reaching $939.159 million. This represented a 2% reported growth year-over-year, and a 4% organic constant-currency growth for the year-to-date period. However, the company's profitability metrics showed a notable decline.

Consolidated operating income decreased to $80.949 million from $107.679 million in the prior year's quarter. Adjusted EBITDA also saw a significant year-over-year decline of 21%, falling to $132.254 million. The company reported a net income of $61.1 million, or $2.36 per share, which missed Wall Street expectations.

The decline in profitability was attributed to several factors, including the non-recurrence of $12 million in one-time favorable items from the prior year. Additionally, a Canadian postal strike impacted revenue by an estimated $3 million and gross profit by $1.8 million, while a $2.9 million land duty tax charge in Australia further weighed on results. Increased advertising costs and weaker organic search performance in the U.S. also contributed to the shortfall.
