Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2024 on October 31, 2024. The company announced revenues of $2,055 million, a 3% decrease compared to $2,128 million in the prior-year period.
Net income for the quarter was $635 million, a 20% decrease from $791 million in Q3 2023, primarily due to $215 million of unfavorable variances related to changes in the fair value of derivative instruments. However, Adjusted EBITDA increased by 7% to $852 million, driven by higher volumes delivered.
The company exported 104 LNG cargoes, a 4% increase, totaling 377 TBtu, up 5% from Q3 2023. Cheniere Partners reconfirmed its full year 2024 distribution guidance of $3.15 to $3.35 per unit, and reported total available liquidity of approximately $2.2 billion as of September 30, 2024. Additionally, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC (SPL) repaid $150 million of its 5.625% Senior Secured Notes due 2025 during the quarter, and the SPL Expansion Project received Department of Energy authorization in October 2024 to export LNG to Free-Trade Agreement countries.
