Smart Powerr Corp. (CREG) announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Shidai Huazhi (Jiangsu) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. on March 31, 2025. This partnership focuses on developing an integrated industrial ecology of photovoltaic, energy storage, charging, and inspection.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the upgrading of urban energy infrastructure and support China's 'dual carbon' goals. Shidai Huazhi's actual controller, Mr. Huang Shilin, previously served as the general manager of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), bringing significant industry experience.
The agreement outlines plans for ultra-fast charging stations with integrated energy storage, charging, and inspection functions, expected to save over one million yuan in electricity bills annually and reduce carbon emissions by more than one thousand tons per year. The initiative also includes building intelligent microgrid systems and exploring energy closed-loop modes, with potential for a market scale of hundreds of trillions of yuan before 2030.
