Creative Realities, Inc. announced it will vigorously defend itself against accusations of patent infringement alleged in a lawsuit filed in Texas federal court by Alpha Modus, Corp. The lawsuit claims that CRI’s digital signage solutions infringe on AMOD’s patented technologies related to real-time consumer behavior analysis, targeted marketing, digital engagement, inventory management, and AI-driven retail personalization. Creative Realities stated that Alpha Modus declined to contact them prior to filing the claims. Creative Realities believes the allegations are part of Alpha Modus’s tactic of filing patent infringement claims to offset concerns about its own financial position. According to its SEC reports, Alpha Modus had a working capital deficit of $9,381,880 on June 30, 2025, and has no reported revenues. Alpha Modus has initiated patent infringement actions against five other companies since the beginning of 2024 and announced at least four similar lawsuits in recent weeks. Rick Mills, CEO of Creative Realities, categorically denied Alpha Modus’s allegations and affirmed the company’s commitment to vigorously defend against them. He stated that the lawsuit will not distract or deter Creative Realities from continuing to develop product solutions for its customers. The company emphasizes its platform, developed through years of internal development and acquisitions, which designs, develops, and deploys digital signage-based experiences for enterprise-level networks.
