Salesforce today announced the appointment of Robin Washington as President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer (COFO), a newly created role, effective March 21, 2025. Washington, who has served on Salesforce's Board of Directors since 2013 and as Lead Independent Director since 2022, will be responsible for driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and financial strategy.

In conjunction with this appointment, Brian Millham, President and Chief Operating Officer, will retire on May 1, 2025, after an extraordinary 25-year career at Salesforce, transitioning into an advisory role. Amy Weaver, the current Chief Financial Officer, had previously announced her transition from the company once a successor was named.

CEO Marc Benioff praised Washington's expertise, stating her vision will guide Salesforce into the 'Agentforce era' and accelerate the company's transformation. Arnold Donald, former Carnival CEO, will become the company's Lead Independent Director after Washington joins the executive team, ensuring continuity in board leadership.
