Criteo Unveils Strong Retail Media Growth Projections and Market Leadership at Investor Update

Criteo S.A. hosted its 2024 Retail Media investor update on November 20, 2024, where CEO Megan Clarken highlighted the segment's significant contribution to the company's overall business. Retail Media now accounts for approximately 22% of Criteo's total operations, demonstrating its growing importance.

The company, which entered the Retail Media space in 2016, is approaching a $250 million business within this segment. Projections indicate a global Total Addressable Market (TAM) of $204 billion by 2027 for Retail Media, with Criteo's Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) expected to reach $50 billion by 2027, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 20% between 2024 and 2027.

Criteo currently powers the Retail Media programs for 225 retailers globally, including 65% of the top 30 retailers in the Americas and 50% of the top 30 in EMEA. These retailers collectively generate approximately $160 billion in eCommerce sales annually, and Criteo's platform connects 3,100 brands and over 200 agencies to this network.
