Curtiss-Wright Corporation announced on August 1, 2025, that its UK-based Curtiss-Wright Nuclear business, formerly Ultra Energy, signed a multi-million dollar strategic partnership with Rolls-Royce SMR. This agreement is to deliver critical safety systems for Rolls-Royce SMR technology. Under the contract, Curtiss-Wright will provide the design, qualification, testing, and supply of non-programmable diverse Reactor Protection Systems for a global fleet of Rolls-Royce SMRs. This work will be performed at Curtiss-Wright Nuclear’s facility in Dorset, UK. This partnership leverages Curtiss-Wright's comprehensive portfolio of advanced nuclear power equipment and technology.
