CyberArk announced today the launch of new discovery and context capabilities across its Machine Identity Security portfolio, enabling security teams to automatically find, understand, and secure machine identities—including certificates, keys, secrets, and workloads—at scale.
The update highlights that machine identities outnumber human identities by an estimated 82 to 1, and cites that 72% of security leaders report certificate‑related outages while 50% experience security incidents or breaches from compromised machine identities, underscoring the urgency of the new features.
Kurt Sand, CyberArk’s GM of Machine Identity Security, said the enhancements provide the visibility and control needed to tame sprawl, enforce policy, and secure environments more efficiently, marking a significant step forward just one year after the company’s acquisition of Venafi.
These capabilities strengthen CyberArk’s position as the industry’s most comprehensive machine identity security solution and expand its addressable market in the rapidly growing AI and cloud‑native landscape.
