Cryoport Systems, a subsidiary of Cryoport, Inc., announced on Oct 1 2025 the opening of a 55,000‑square‑foot facility in Louvres, France, near Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The new center is the third campus in Cryoport’s Global Supply Chain Center (GSCC) network and will provide end‑to‑end, temperature‑controlled supply‑chain solutions for biopharma, cell and gene therapies, biologics, animal health and reproductive medicine.
The Louvres facility will be immediately operational, offering 24‑hour worldwide dispatch from order receipt to deployment of Cryoport’s proprietary shipping fleet. In the months following launch, the center will add BioServices, biostorage, QP drug management, Importer of Record services and additional Cryoport Systems offerings, thereby expanding the company’s integrated capabilities across the life‑sciences value chain.
CEO Jerrell Shelton said the new center “strengthens Cryoport Systems’ Global Supply Chain Center Network significantly and provides us with increased ability to serve our clients in the European and global markets.” The facility’s launch was partially funded by a grant from the Île‑de-France region, underscoring the strategic importance of the expansion for both Cryoport and the local economy.
By adding a high‑capacity, strategically located hub in Europe, Cryoport enhances its ability to support clinical and commercial cell and gene therapy programs, reduces transit times for temperature‑sensitive payloads, and positions the company to capture growing demand in the regenerative‑medicine market.
