Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DFLI) announced that Werner Enterprises, Inc., a North American logistics leader with a fleet of roughly 8,300 trucks and 30,000 trailers, has placed its first firm order for the company’s Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack. The lithium‑iron‑phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery system is designed to keep truck cabins powered during idling periods, eliminating the need to run the main engine for hotel loads and driver amenities and thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

The order follows a real‑world pilot that tested the DualFlow Power Pack on a subset of Werner’s fleet. During the pilot, the system delivered reliable, efficient power for cab comfort and driver amenities, and reduced the number of engine starts during breaks. Werner’s senior vice president of the One Way Network, Chad Dittberner, said the pilot “demonstrated that the Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack delivers on every front, providing our drivers with reliable power for cab comfort and driver amenities along with reduced truck starts during breaks.” The pilot’s success convinced Werner to move from a trial to a commercial order.

Dragonfly’s Q3 2025 financial results show net sales of $15.97 million, a 25.5% year‑over‑year increase, and a net loss of $11.1 million. The Werner order is expected to add recurring revenue and strengthen Dragonfly’s position in the heavy‑duty trucking market, a segment that has shown strong interest in idle‑reduction technology due to regulatory pressure and cost‑saving opportunities. The order validates Dragonfly’s LiFePO₄‑based solutions in demanding fleet operations and signals potential for additional contracts with large carriers.

Wade Seaburg, chief commercial officer of Dragonfly Energy, noted that “seeing a respected fleet like Werner Enterprises move from pilot to order is a meaningful validation of our technology.” The partnership underscores the company’s strategy to expand beyond its core commercial and industrial battery markets into the commercial trucking sector, where idle‑reduction solutions can deliver significant fuel and maintenance savings.

Investors and analysts have reacted positively to the announcement, citing the significance of the first firm order from a major fleet operator. The order confirms Dragonfly’s technology readiness and provides a foothold in a high‑growth market segment that is increasingly focused on emissions reduction and operational efficiency.

The win positions Dragonfly as a preferred supplier for idle‑reduction technology in the commercial trucking sector. With regulatory mandates tightening and fleets seeking to cut fuel costs, the company’s battery‑powered auxiliary system offers a compelling solution. The order also provides a platform for future revenue growth as Dragonfly scales production and expands its customer base in the heavy‑duty trucking market.
