Digi Power X Inc. (NASDAQ:DGXX) has appointed Jagan Jeyapaul as its new Chief Technology Officer. Jeyapaul brings a decade of experience leading technology teams at Oracle, Equinix and VeriSign, where he managed large‑scale cloud and data‑center platforms and advanced secure interconnection and API ecosystems.
The appointment comes as Digi Power X accelerates its strategic pivot from cryptocurrency mining to a Tier‑III AI data‑center provider. In his new role, Jeyapaul will oversee the ARMS 200 modular data‑center platform, expand AI infrastructure deployments, and manage the NeoCloud GPU‑as‑a‑Service platform, positioning the company to capture high‑margin AI compute demand that is projected to grow sharply in the coming years.
Financially, the company has made significant progress. In Q3 2025 Digi Power X reported a net income of $0.3 million and working capital of $15.1 million, compared with a net loss of $6.4 million and working capital of $0.5 million in Q3 2024. The company also posted positive adjusted EBITDA, $30 million in cash, and no debt as of August 2025, underscoring a stronger balance sheet as it shifts away from the volatile crypto‑mining business.
Revenue mix has shifted as well. In Q1 2025, 85 % of total revenue came from energy sales and colocation services, with colocation revenue up 163 % year‑over‑year. Crypto‑mining revenue has declined, while AI infrastructure is expected to grow as the ARMS 200 platform is deployed and the NeoCloud service launches in 2026.
CEO Michel Amar said, “Jag’s deep background in secure, high‑availability cloud environments will help accelerate Digi Power X’s Tier‑3 deployments and strengthen the Company’s foothold in AI infrastructure.” Jeyapaul added, “I am excited to help build Digi Power X into a global provider of modular AI data‑center solutions and advanced GPU compute platforms.”
The company’s first ARMS 200 pod is slated for installation in December 2025, with operations beginning in Q1 2026. The Alabama site will deliver 40 MW of critical Tier 3 power capacity, supporting over 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, and is part of a broader partnership with NVIDIA and Supermicro that underpins the company’s AI strategy.
The appointment signals Digi Power X’s commitment to its AI‑centric transformation, with the new CTO expected to accelerate deployment, improve margins, and strengthen the company’s competitive position in a high‑growth, high‑margin market.
