DiDi Global Inc. announced an 8.5% rise in revenue for the first quarter of 2025, reaching 53.3 billion yuan (approximately US$7.32 billion) compared to 49.1 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2024. This growth reflects the continued recovery and expansion of the company's operations.
The company reported a profit of RMB2.4 billion for the first quarter of 2025, a substantial increase from RMB0.8 billion in the same period last year. Profit attributable to equity holders of DiDi also surged to RMB2.4 billion from RMB0.8 billion in Q1 2024, demonstrating enhanced financial performance.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was RMB3.1 billion, up from RMB1.7 billion in Q1 2024, while Adjusted EBITA reached RMB2.4 billion, compared to RMB1.0 billion in the prior year. The China Mobility segment achieved a record high of 36.2 million average daily transactions, and its Gross Transaction Value (GTV) grew by 9.3% to RMB78.046 billion.
The International segment also contributed significantly, with GTV increasing by 13.2% (27.9% on a constant currency basis) to RMB23.558 billion. The international mobility business maintained its EBITA profitability, underscoring the effectiveness of DiDi's global expansion strategy and operational efficiency.
