Ginkgo leveraged its AI modeling expertise and high-throughput screening platform to deliver yeast strains with nearly 3-times higher production efficiency for 'Beetroot Red' and 'Prickly Pear Yellow' colors. This improvement significantly reduces production costs and carbon footprint for Phytolon.
Upon meeting this milestone, Ginkgo received additional equity in Phytolon, demonstrating the value generated from its partnerships.
