Cosa Resources Corp. announced on January 20, 2025, its plans for a 1,600-meter core drilling campaign at the Murphy Lake North Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. This marks the first drilling campaign on the property since 2005.

The drilling program will target the interpreted strike extension of the Hurricane Deposit geology within Murphy Lake North, as well as follow up on historical intersections of uranium mineralization. Mobilization of the drill and crew is expected in early February.

Murphy Lake North is a joint venture between Cosa (70% interest and operator) and Denison Mines Corp. (30% interest). Cosa is solely funding this initial drilling campaign as part of its obligation to spend $1.5 million in exploration expenditures at the project by December 31, 2027.
