Cosa Resources Corp. reported on February 13, 2025, that core drilling has commenced at the Murphy Lake North Uranium Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. This marks the first drilling campaign within the project since 2005.

The initial drilling program will follow up on the interpreted extension of the Hurricane deposit basement geology within Murphy Lake North. Additionally, drilling will evaluate a parallel trend that hosts historical intersections of uranium mineralization.

Murphy Lake North is a joint venture between Cosa, which holds a 70% interest and operates the project, and Denison Mines Corp., which holds a 30% interest. Cosa is solely funding this drilling program as part of its exploration expenditure commitments.
