Denison Mines Corp. announced on July 21, 2025, the discovery of several significant new intercepts of shallow high-grade uranium mineralization at the McClean South zone, part of the 22.5%-owned McClean Lake Joint Venture in northern Saskatchewan.

Orano Canada Inc., the operator, completed a 6,400-meter exploration drilling program in the first half of 2025. The program was highlighted by multiple notable high-grade intersections at the 8C mineralized pod, including 5.4 meters at 7.51% eU3O8 in drill hole MCS-77 and 11.2 meters at 3.50% eU3O8 in MCS-80.

Fourteen of twenty-four completed drill holes encountered significant intercepts, confirming and expanding the mineralized footprint of the 8C and 8W pods. This success underscores the potential for McClean South to emerge as an economic new source of future feed for the nearby McClean Lake mill, especially with the recent commencement of SABRE mining at McClean North.
