Domino's Pizza Inc. announced a strategic partnership with DoorDash, the leading local commerce platform in North America. This collaboration will allow Domino's to access new customers through the DoorDash Marketplace, while continuing to utilize its own drivers for delivery services.
A pilot program is currently underway in select locations, with a planned nationwide U.S. launch commencing in May 2025, followed by expansion across Canada later in 2025. Domino's Chief Operating Officer Joe Jordan stated that the aggregator marketplace represents a '$1 billion opportunity' for the company.
The partnership is expected to drive incremental sales by connecting with DoorDash customers, particularly in suburban and rural markets, where Domino's continues to open new stores. DoorDash users will be able to order from local Domino's stores through the DoorDash app, with integrated GPS tracking for deliveries.
