Viant Technology Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with iHeartMedia that will enable the company to deliver addressable advertising across iHeart’s extensive audio network, including podcasts, streaming audio, and broadcast radio. The integration leverages Viant’s AI‑powered programmatic platform and the Triton Digital infrastructure, giving advertisers programmatic access to the full spectrum of iHeart’s inventory with enhanced precision, transparency, and performance metrics.

The deal positions Viant to capture a larger share of the $60 billion linear‑to‑CTV migration and the broader shift toward addressable media. By adding iHeart’s premium audio inventory, Viant expands its addressable reach into a channel that has seen rapid growth, with addressable audio advertising projected to reach $242.3 billion by 2033. The partnership also strengthens Viant’s competitive positioning against larger players such as Google and Amazon by offering an independent, buy‑side‑only platform that can scale across multiple media types.

Viant’s recent financial performance underscores the strategic fit of the partnership. In Q3 2025, the company reported revenue of $85.6 million, up 7% year‑over‑year, and a non‑GAAP EPS of $0.06, beating analyst expectations of $0.05 by $0.01. The revenue growth was driven by a 12% increase in core programmatic sales and a 9% rise in AI‑driven campaign spend, while cost controls kept operating margins stable at 0.57%. The partnership is expected to accelerate this momentum by adding new inventory and new client demand for addressable audio.

iHeartMedia’s portfolio includes more than 1,200 radio stations and a leading podcast network that reaches over 200 million listeners. The partnership gives Viant access to this audience, creating a new revenue stream that could add several million dollars in incremental revenue annually. Analysts note that the addressable audio market is expanding faster than traditional audio, and the partnership positions Viant to capture a larger share of that growth.

Tim Vanderhook, CEO of Viant, said the partnership “demonstrates how our AI‑powered platform can unlock new inventory and deliver measurable results for advertisers.” Lisa Coffey, Chief Business Officer at iHeartMedia, added that the integration “provides advertisers with unprecedented precision and transparency across our audio network, enabling them to reach the right audience at the right time.” Together, the two companies aim to deepen Viant’s footprint in the audio advertising market and accelerate the adoption of addressable media across the industry.
