Dynatrace introduced several new Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities designed to simplify the setup and assignment of user permissions for enterprise-scale access management. These advancements provide unmatched flexibility while reducing complexity.
The new features include default policies and policy boundaries, which make it easier for administrators to manage which records and resources users can access. Default policies, managed by Dynatrace, eliminate much of the hassle of configuring permissions and ensure a consistent security baseline.
Policy boundaries allow for the separate management of business-specific access control conditions from policies, enabling selective application of policies to one or many policy-to-group mappings. This enhances security and streamlines compliance for organizations.
