New APR Energy LLC announced on February 25, 2025, the deployment of four mobile gas turbines providing over 100 megawatts of dedicated behind-the-meter power to a major U.S.-based AI hyperscaler. The installation is expected to be completed within 10 days with support from Duos Technologies Group, Inc.
This deployment is the first 100MW project for New APR Energy, leveraging a portfolio of power generation assets managed under an asset management agreement with Duos Technologies. The mobile gas turbine fleet offers a fast and flexible alternative for data center expansion, addressing challenges in securing power from local utilities.
Chuck Ferry, Chairman and CEO for New APR Energy and CEO at Duos Technologies, stated that this deployment serves as a proof point for the investment thesis in Behind-the-Meter power demand. The company is in discussions with other data center operators for similar support, anticipating more deployments in the coming weeks.
