DaVita announced positive clinical outcomes achieved in partnership with nearly 1,300 nephrologists across the U.S. during the first performance year of its value-based care arrangements. These programs are part of the government's voluntary Kidney Care Choices (KCC) model.

The company has doubled its footprint in these arrangements, expanding to 22 Kidney Contracting Entities (KCEs) from 11 launched in 2022. This expansion demonstrates DaVita's commitment to coordinated care models designed to enhance the lives of Medicare patients with kidney disease.

Key achievements include a 16% industry increase in optimal start rates for kidney patients transitioning to dialysis, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced unplanned starts. DaVita also increased CKD education by 39% through its Kidney Smart program for patients aligned with CKCC practices.
