DXC Technology announced that Canadian life‑insurance provider ivari has completed a full migration of 732,000 policies to the company’s Assure Platform and has gone live on the platform. The migration, executed during the AWS re:Invent conference, was completed without any service disruption to ivari’s policyholders or distribution partners.
The transition delivered a 22 % reduction in ivari’s operating costs and enabled the insurer to launch four new life‑insurance products. The new products—two term plans and two whole‑life plans—expand ivari’s product mix and provide higher‑margin offerings that are expected to drive future revenue growth.
The Assure Platform, built on Amazon Web Services, provides a scalable, cloud‑native foundation that supports ivari’s legacy Ingenium policy administration system. By modernizing core systems at scale, DXC has demonstrated its ability to deliver tangible cost savings while preserving existing technology investments, a key selling point for insurers seeking cloud migration without disruption.
DXC’s Q3 FY2025 results showed a 5.1 % year‑over‑year decline in revenue to $3.23 billion, but the company’s adjusted EBIT margin improved to 8.9 %. The ivari win reinforces DXC’s recurring‑revenue strategy and is expected to contribute to margin expansion as the company scales its Assure Platform across additional life‑insurance clients.
Ray August, President of DXC’s Insurance Software and Business Process Services, said, “ivari’s success demonstrates how insurers can protect the value of their existing investments while embracing a cloud‑powered future.” Scott Gorman, EVP and COO of ivari, added, “Partnering with DXC allowed us to modernize core systems without disruption, enabling us to launch new products faster.”
The migration positions DXC against competitors such as Guidewire and Duck Creek, strengthening its foothold in the Canadian market. With a 25‑year partnership with ivari and a growing portfolio of life‑insurance clients, DXC is poised to capture additional contracts as insurers accelerate digital transformation.”
