Mr. Roegner brings significant experience from executive leadership roles at Amcor plc and Arconic Inc., and was a partner at McKinsey & Co. His background in positioning operations in cyclical industries to maximize flexibility is expected to strengthen the Board's collective expertise.
In addition to his board appointment, Mr. Roegner will serve on the Audit Committee and the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. His expertise is anticipated to contribute to GrafTech's strategic planning and operational resilience in a dynamic market environment.
