EDAP TMS reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2025, with total HIFU revenue surging 76.8% year-over-year to EUR 8.5 million (USD 9.7 million). This growth was driven by the net placement of 12 Focal One Robotic HIFU Systems, including nine capital sales, compared to three systems in Q2 2024. Worldwide disposable revenue also increased by 23.9% year-over-year.

For the first half of 2025, total HIFU revenue increased 38.5% to EUR 14.7 million (USD 16.1 million). The company's gross profit margin improved to 42.5% in Q2 2025 from 37.5% in Q2 2024, reflecting the strategic focus on its higher-margin core HIFU business. Total worldwide revenue for Q2 was EUR 16.0 million (USD 18.4 million), a 1.6% increase, despite a 31.2% decline in non-core business revenue.

EDAP updated its 2025 financial guidance, now expecting core HIFU business revenue to grow within the range of 26% to 34% year-over-year, an increase from the previous guidance of 16% to 25%. The combined non-core ESWL and Distribution business revenue is expected to decline between 25% and 30% year-over-year, an accelerated decline from the initial 20% to 25%.
