Edible Garden AG Incorporated has added Woodman’s Markets to its distribution network, making its Pickle Party line of fresh, fermented, kosher and non‑GM pickles and krauts available in 20 large‑format stores across Wisconsin and Illinois.
The move brings Pickle Party into a high‑traffic regional grocery chain that already carries more than 5,000 of the company’s products nationwide, expanding the brand’s reach in the Midwest and positioning it for further growth in the functional‑food segment.
Edible Garden’s strategy has shifted toward higher‑margin, shelf‑stable products, and Pickle Party—developed in partnership with the Hermann Pickle Company and marketed as the world’s first functional pickle line—fits that focus. The expansion is expected to accelerate sales of the value‑added line, which has driven a 9% year‑over‑year revenue increase to $2.8 million in Q3 2025, despite a $4 million net loss that year.
CEO Jim Kras said the partnership with Woodman’s “reinforces our commitment to expanding the Pickle Party line into new high‑traffic retail environments while maintaining our clean‑label, gut‑health positioning.” The company’s broader pivot to shelf‑stable products is intended to improve profitability, and the Woodman’s launch is a key step in that strategy.
The expansion is part of a broader rollout that has already seen Pickle Party added to Metro New York, Foodtown, Western Beef and King Kullen, and is expected to contribute to the company’s long‑term revenue growth as it continues to scale its clean‑label, high‑margin product portfolio.
