Edible Garden AG Inc. has begun shipping its Pickle Party line of fresh, fermented pickles and krauts to King Kullen supermarkets across Long Island, covering roughly 26 to 32 stores in the New York Metro area.

The Pickle Party line is positioned as a clean‑label, gut‑friendly product: raw, refrigerated, kosher, non‑GMO, and free from artificial preservatives, stabilizers and added sugars. The launch fits into Edible Garden’s broader “better‑for‑you” strategy, which seeks to broaden its product portfolio beyond fresh produce.

By adding King Kullen to its distribution network, Edible Garden extends its retail reach to more than 5,000 locations nationwide, strengthening its presence in the New York market and giving the company a foothold in a health‑conscious consumer base that values sustainably produced condiments.

Financially, the company reported a Q3 2025 net loss of $4 million on revenue of $2.8 million, a doubling of the loss from the prior year. Gross profit fell, but non‑perishable unit sales grew 49.3% year‑over‑year, indicating that the diversification into shelf‑stable products is beginning to offset pressure on its fresh‑produce segment.

CEO Jim Kras said the partnership with King Kullen is a “natural home for innovative, better‑for‑you brands,” underscoring confidence that the expanded distribution will help the company reach new customers and support its growth strategy.

While the launch is a positive step, Edible Garden continues to face headwinds: cash reserves have dropped to $0.8 million, the company’s stock sits near its 52‑week low, and analysts maintain a sell consensus. The expansion may help mitigate these challenges by broadening revenue streams, but the company’s financial health remains a concern.
