Euronet's Money Transfer segment, including Ria Money Transfer, Xe, and Dandelion, announced a collaboration with Visa to make Visa Direct available to its customers. This partnership significantly expands Dandelion's digital payout capabilities to include 4 billion Visa debit cards.
The integration allows Euronet's Money Transfer customers to send funds within minutes to Visa debit cards by providing only the recipient’s name and debit card number. This service expansion aligns with evolving consumer trends and the increasing prevalence of debit card usage globally.
This collaboration enhances Euronet's digital offering, which already includes connections to over 3.2 billion mobile wallet accounts, 4 billion bank accounts, and 624,000 physical locations across nearly 200 countries. The partnership also ensures dual safeguarding of payment and account data through Visa’s security infrastructure and Euronet’s compliance framework. This is the first step in Euronet and Visa’s collaboration.
