EpicQuest Education Group International Limited (EEIQ) announced on January 5 2026 that it has signed a four‑year, non‑binding Memorandum of Understanding with Lyceum Campus Private Limited in Sri Lanka to launch Davis University’s Master of Science in Management program in the country. The agreement, signed on December 12 2025, allows students to earn a Davis degree locally through online instruction while the university retains full academic control and degree‑granting authority.
Under the terms of the MOU, EEIQ will recruit and support 150 students in the first year, adding 100 new students each subsequent year to reach 450 by year four. The partnership is projected to generate at least $2 million in revenue over the four‑year period, with enrollment and revenue targets aligned to the program’s capacity and pricing structure. The four‑year term includes renewal options, giving EEIQ flexibility to extend the collaboration as the program matures.
EEIQ’s broader financial picture shows a 43% revenue increase in fiscal 2024, bringing total revenue to $8.2 million. Despite this growth, the company continues to face profitability challenges, a fact that underscores the importance of new, scalable revenue streams such as the Sri Lanka program. The expansion also aligns with EEIQ’s strategy of diversifying its income sources beyond its existing China and India operations.
Jianbo Zhang, Chairman and CEO of EEIQ, said the partnership “expands our global footprint and leverages our ownership of Davis University to deliver high‑quality, accredited degrees in new markets.” Diane Brunner, President of Davis University, added that the online delivery model “provides Sri Lankan students with a world‑class education while maintaining the rigorous academic standards of Davis.”
The Sri Lanka launch represents a strategic pivot for EEIQ, combining its AI‑powered educational platforms with a proven degree program to capture a growing demand for international graduate education in South Asia. By partnering with a local campus, EEIQ can tap into established student recruitment channels, reduce entry barriers, and create a new revenue stream that complements its domestic services. The move also strengthens EEIQ’s competitive edge by adding a high‑value graduate program to its global ecosystem, positioning the company for continued growth in emerging markets.
