The aircraft is compatible with existing EH216‑S vertiports and can operate from a variety of urban sites such as parks, rooftops, and parking lots.
By expanding its product line from the urban‑focused EH216‑S to a medium‑ to long‑range platform, EHang positions itself to capture intercity, cross‑sea, and cross‑mountain transportation markets. The VT35 launch follows the March 2025 acceptance of its type‑certificate application by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, accelerating the company’s path to airworthiness certification and commercial deployment.
