The Estée Lauder Companies announced on February 3, 2025, the appointment of Michael Bowes as Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer, effective April 1, 2025. This is the first time a company executive will hold this newly created title. Mr. Bowes will oversee all areas of Global Human Resources, including talent management, career development, and organizational design, with a focus on continuous culture building. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Stéphane de La Faverie. Mr. Bowes joined ELC in 2015 and has led Global Talent Acquisition and end-to-end Talent Management. His promotion reflects his track record and commitment to fostering an agile, collaborative, and connected workplace, succeeding Michael O’Hare who is retiring.
