Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd. announced on March 31, 2025, that it has secured debt financing for its Country Acres project, located near Sacramento, California. The construction financing commitments total $773 million from a consortium of four global banks, including BNP Paribas Securities Corp, Crédit Agricole, Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, and Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale.

The Country Acres project consists of 403 MW of solar generation and 688 MWh of energy storage capacity. It is expected to reach full commercial operation during the second half of 2026. The project has a 30-year solar generation busbar PPA and a 20-year energy storage busbar purchase agreement with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).

This financial close is the second achieved with the same group of lenders in the past three months, following the Roadrunner project, highlighting strong partnerships. Country Acres has met the requirements for safe harbor status, and a tax equity transaction is anticipated during the construction period. The project is expected to provide clean electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of approximately 80,000 California households.
