Enlight Renewable Energy announced on April 22, 2025, that it has signed an agreement with Vishay Israel Ltd. for the supply of electricity valued at approximately $105 million over a period of 12 years. The agreement also includes an option to significantly increase consumption volumes throughout the contract's duration.
Vishay Israel, a global manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components, will benefit from significantly reduced electricity costs and a substantial reduction in emissions. This environmental impact is equivalent to planting approximately 740,000 new trees or removing about 17,000 fuel-powered vehicles from the road annually.
This deal follows a series of similar clean electricity supply agreements Enlight has secured in recent months with other leading Israeli entities, including the Weizmann Institute of Science and NTA Metropolitan Mass Transit. The agreement underscores Enlight's role in leading Israel's transition to clean power within the deregulated electricity market.
