Erie Indemnity Company announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025. The company reported net income of $138.4 million, an increase from $124.6 million in the first quarter of 2024.
Diluted earnings per share for Q1 2025 were $2.65, up from $2.38 in the prior-year period. Total operating revenue for the quarter grew to $989.4 million, compared to $880.7 million in Q1 2024, driven by a 13.4% rise in management fee revenue.
Despite the year-over-year growth in net income and revenue, Erie Indemnity's Q1 earnings lagged analyst estimates. Operating income before taxes increased by $12.6 million, or 9.1 percent, in the first quarter of 2025.
