Elbit Systems Ltd. announced on August 13, 2025, that it has been awarded a substantial $1.635 billion contract to deliver a comprehensive range of defense solutions to a European country. The implementation of this significant contract is expected to span over a 5-year period.
The contract includes two groups of technologically advanced solutions, leveraging Elbit Systems' cutting-edge technologies and portfolio, including embedded AI technology. The first group comprises long-range precision strike artillery-rocket systems and a broad spectrum of unmanned reconnaissance and loitering aerial combat systems, from operational to tactical ranges, including personally operated drones.
The second group of solutions includes highly sophisticated ISTAR capabilities, such as SIGINT, COMINT, and electronic warfare systems. Additionally, enabled intelligence collection and processing systems, advanced electro-optical and night-vision systems, combat vehicle upgrades, and protective systems will be delivered.
Elbit Systems will also provide a comprehensive military digitalization and Network Combat Solution, based on the latest software generation and cutting-edge hardware communication equipment. This integrated solution covers all operational levels, from strategic army headquarters down to the tactical level and individual combat vehicles.
Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, stated that this contract reflects the strong demand for Elbit Systems' technologies in Europe. He emphasized the company's ability to deliver integrated, multi-domain solutions tailored to modern defense forces, and noted that the contract includes industrial cooperation to strengthen the buyer's national industrial capabilities.
