Elastic introduced a new integration with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry that adds real‑time observability for large‑language‑model and agentic AI workloads. The integration gives site‑reliability engineers and developers visibility into LLM performance, usage, and errors, enabling them to build, monitor, and optimize intelligent agents on Azure AI Foundry.

The integration extends Elastic’s observability capabilities to Azure AI Foundry, allowing customers to leverage Elastic’s Search AI platform for monitoring AI workloads within a major cloud AI platform. It supports real‑time monitoring of LLM performance, usage, and errors, helping teams improve reliability and efficiency of AI agents.

Elastic’s CEO Shlomi Ben Haim said the partnership positions Elastic as a foundational Search AI platform for enterprises, combining search with AI to address critical use cases. The move taps into a growing market of AI agents and generative AI workloads, potentially driving adoption of Elastic’s observability and AI features among Azure customers.

Elastic reported FY2024 revenue of $1.2 billion, up 12% year over year, and a net loss of $0.3 billion. The company’s growth in the AI and observability space is expected to accelerate as it expands its cloud integrations and product offerings.
